Le Mange Bal is one of the pioneering projects of emerging trad/folk-electro (Beat Bouet Trio, Patate Sound System, Turfu, Superparquet, etc.) drawing its sources from traditional Occitan, Auvergne, Poitevine and Breton music. Music from folk dances and traditional regional music from France is re-arranged for drum machine, sampler, accordion, clarinet and analog synthesizer. Le Mange Bal also scours current music and world music festivals and folk dance floors in France and the rest of Europe (Switzerland, Belgium, etc.)
