Formed in the ruins of an ancient mirror factory on the banks of the Rhône, this group carries within it a story worthy of a traditional tale—an ode to the tragic youth of musicians who survived only on a few pizzas marinated in jasmine tea.
In this maze of dark cellars, three promising members were raised in a cage, subjected to intensive listening of Bach, Jean-Michel Jarretelle, and other obscure repertoires of Auvergne bourrées. During their childhood, they were often seen dragged, in chains, across the dancefloors of the most improbable balls, fed only zucchini fins and muskrat mousse—all with the goal of turning them into the future grand masters of politically engaged musette hip-hop.
Taking advantage of a moonless night, they managed to escape, finding brief refuge in a strip-tease cabaret, only to conclude this epic journey back on the folk dancefloors.
And so today, Colin Delzant (cello), Valère Passeri (violin), and Lucas Thebaut (diatonic accordions) are proud to present the fruit of this incredible adventure: music that will make you dance, scream, and maybe even lift off to the sound of a swing… that’s come a long way!
