She moves through life with a beautiful hat on her head and a diatonic accordion in her hands. A true free spirit with an irresistible smile, she brings music that feels both rooted and refreshingly new.

For several years she has been an enthusiastic volunteer behind the bar at the Boombalfestival, serving drinks with the same energy and warmth that now define her performances. Two years ago she boldly suggested that she would love to play at the festival herself. Officially there was no space left on the program. But for that kind of enthusiasm and conviction, we simply had to make room.

Last year she proved that this was the right decision. She delivered a fantastic set that had dancers smiling from ear to ear. At the Kerstboombal in our home city of Ghent, she once again captured the dance floor with ease and charm.
