Mandakyn

Self-taught since 1997, Aurélien Claranbaux moves effortlessly between traditional repertoire, original compositions, and improvisation, blending these three dimensions with a unique sensitivity. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of influences—from the dance music of Central France and Brittany to jazz, rock, rap, and world music—he brings a distinctive groove to his playing, always rooted in the spirit of traditional music.

On stage, he puts his musical versatility at the service of both dancers and listeners, offering an immersive journey through his solo project. Between melody, rhythm, improvisation, and subtle nuances, he invites the audience on a sonic exploration where each piece opens the door to unexpected worlds.

But Aurélien’s artistry goes beyond making the accordion resonate. Passionate about sound in all its forms, he is also a sound engineer and live sound technician. In the studio, through La Claranbox, he supports artists and bands in shaping an authentic, balanced sound—at the crossroads of modern techniques and acoustic warmth. In live settings, he provides sound for concerts and events, bringing his expertise to create high-quality, immersive audio experiences.

Whether as a musician, sound creator, or audio technician, Aurélien Claranbaux shapes and sculpts sound with boundless passion, always in search of new sensibilities.
