Marasc is a new balfolk duo, founded by Nathalie Van Meirvenne (flutes, vocals) and Jeroen Werbrouck (accordion) in 2024. Nathalie and Jeroen met during a folk dance event in Ghent, and a plan to make music together soon began to take shape. The duo performs original, danceable tunes. Fresh arrangements, in which they use their instruments in diverse ways, also captivate the listening audience.
